Our Story

While in medical school, Dr. Toor realized that many individuals (even in her own family!) were not having their female health needs addressed due to gender, language and cultural barriers.  She envisioned a clinic with an all female team, with various language skills, that would be a comfortable place for individuals to come to have their female health needs addressed.  In 2007 she founded The Northeast Calgary Women’s Clinic and later The IUD Clinic.  We have now combined our team together at The IUD & NE Women’s Health Clinic to offer you a full range of services in one convenient location!

We believe in empowering individuals with knowledge to help them make better informed decisions about female health needs.

We strive to offer quality female health care and education.  We are also dedicated to complete IUD care, from education, placements, removals and help with tricky IUD issues.

Why choose us?

We are a team of over 15 all female physicians and friendly staff.  Our clinic was established over 15 years ago, we have helped over 50,000 individuals and placed thousands of IUDs.  We are dedicated full time, ONLY to IUD & female health care, up to 6 days a week.  It’s all we do!  We are thought leaders in Women’s Health, birth control and IUDs.  Our doctors are expert speakers on these topics.
